The practice has served Littleton from West Coal Mine Avenue for more than 30 years. Dr. Mihai "Mike" Itoafa has owned it since 2018, and Nella, our office manager, runs the front desk.

Restorative and general dentistry

Dental emergency?
A broken tooth, a swollen gum, or persistent pain
Call first and describe what has happened. The office answers Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. After hours, an answering service takes your message and passes it to the office.
Treating a damaged tooth
Root canal therapy
Treatment for a tooth whose pulp is infected or damaged, so the tooth can be kept rather than extracted.
Tooth extractions
Removal of a tooth that cannot be saved, with care to preserve the surrounding bone and a plan for its replacement.
Fillings
Tooth-colored fillings that restore teeth damaged by decay, chips, or wear.
Replacing missing teeth
Dental implants
A tooth replacement option that supports a single crown or retains a bridge or full-arch denture.
Crowns and bridges
Crowns protect a weakened or root-treated tooth, and bridges close the gap left by a missing tooth.
Dentures
Partial and complete dentures for extensive or total tooth loss, and adjustments when a denture no longer fits.
Gum health and cosmetic care
Gum disease treatment
Periodontal care for gum disease, with deep cleaning in the office and maintenance visits afterward. Severe cases go to a periodontist.

Porcelain veneers that change the shape or shade of a front tooth, and custom take-home trays for whitening.

Regular cleanings and examinations that detect problems while they are small and treatable.

Dutch Creek Dental accepts most major insurance plans, and CareCredit financing is available. Before treatment begins, we review the cost of each item with you.

What to expect
- Before. We ask for your name, phone number, and insurance information.
- During. Dr. Itoafa examines your teeth and gums and reviews his findings with you before any treatment is planned.
- After. You leave with a clear understanding of the next step.

The people
Meet Dr. Mike and Nella
Dr. Mihai "Mike" Itoafa is a graduate of the UNLV School of Dental Medicine. His undergraduate studies included biology and engineering, which he finds useful in the practice of dentistry. Before joining Dutch Creek Dental he practiced in Las Vegas, Nevada, and he has owned the practice since 2018.
Nella is our office manager and runs the front desk.

The office is in Suite 103 at 8370 West Coal Mine Avenue, just east of Wadsworth Boulevard.

How to find us
- Find the corner of Wadsworth Boulevard and West Coal Mine Avenue, and drive east on the avenue.
- Turn right into the shopping center driveway, about 450 feet east of Wadsworth.
- Follow the drive as it curves back toward Wadsworth, and park in the lot right in front of our door.
- The front door opens into a small lobby. The door to Dutch Creek Dental, Suite 103, is clearly marked.
