Questions
Questions patients ask
The things new patients ask us most. If yours is not here, call and ask.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, we are accepting new patients. Referrals from friends and family are welcome, though a referral is not required. To arrange a first visit, call (303) 978-1522 or request an appointment on the contact page.
What are your hours?
The office is open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays.
Which insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most major insurance plans. Please call with the name of your plan, and we will check your coverage before your visit. Patients with Health First Colorado (Medicaid) are also welcome, and we will explain what that plan covers.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. CareCredit financing is available to patients who prefer to spread the cost of treatment over time. Before treatment begins, we go over the cost of each item with you.
Where is the office, and where do I park?
The office is in Suite 103 at 8370 West Coal Mine Avenue, Littleton, just east of Wadsworth Boulevard. Parking is in the lot right in front of our door. The front door opens into a small lobby, and the door to Dutch Creek Dental is clearly marked.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, and a list of the medications you take. The list becomes part of your health history, which is reviewed before treatment is planned.
Can I complete the forms before my first visit?
Not at this time. New patients complete their forms at the first visit, and we hand them to you at the front desk.
What if I have a dental emergency?
During office hours, call (303) 978-1522 and tell us what has happened. After hours, an answering service takes your message and passes it to the office. We will try to follow up, but we cannot promise to see you outside office hours. For difficulty breathing, swelling that spreads toward the eye or neck, or a serious injury, call 911 or go to an emergency room.
Do you see children?
The practice sees patients 12 and older. Children younger than 12 are better served by a pediatric dentist, a dentist who has completed additional training in the care of children.
How do I leave a review?
Select the Leave a review button on our testimonials page, which opens the Google review form for the practice.
How can I refer a friend or family member?
Ask the person to call (303) 978-1522 or to send a note through the contact page. Nothing is required of you, and we appreciate the recommendation.
